On July 16th at approximately 0206 hours, a semi-truck carrying apples was traveling Eastbound on I-84 near milepost 108. The truck failed to negotiate a left-hand curve and overturned on the roadway. The male driver was unrestrained and ejected from the truck. The driver was pronounced dead on scene. There was one male passenger sleeping in the truck at the time that was uninjured. Lane two of I-84 is expected to be closed most of the day as crews work to clean up the spill and remove the truck. Traffic will be minimally impacted.
