At approximately 4:30 AM on Saturday, July 27 a driver of a semi towing a 53 foot trailer lost control and impacted the right concrete barrier at Lamb’s Canyon (westbound). The semi detached from the trailer and rolled down the north embankment. The trailer remand on main flow, blocking all lanes. The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital with non-life threating injuries. The passenger was ejected and died at the scene.
