On August 3, 2026, at approximately 0644 hours, a white Toyota Camry was traveling north on SR-32 near milepost 8. The Camry left the roadway to the right, overcorrected, and crossed back into the oncoming southbound lane after turning 90 degrees. A Jeep Wrangler was traveling southbound and struck the passenger side of the Camry. The driver and passenger of the Camry sustained fatal injuries and died on scene. The driver of Jeep sustained minor injuries and was cared for by medical personnel on scene.
