On November 29, 2025, at approximately 0153 hours, a gray Audi SQ5 entered I-15 the wrong way (traveling southbound in the northbound lanes) from the 600 South off-ramp. The Audi collided head-on with a black Nissan Rogue at 1900 South on I-15 northbound. The driver, a 21 year old male Jose Jimenez, of the wrong-way Audi sustained minor injuries and was placed under arrest for the suspicion of driving under the influence. Following the collision, the Nissan Rogue became fully engulfed in flames. Both the driver and passenger, Male 18 years old & female 17 years old, of the Rogue were pronounced deceased on scene.
