On 6/1/26 shortly after 0700 hours, a UDOT Incident Management (IMT) unit had stopped to assist a motorist on the shoulder of I-15 Southbound near Pages Lane in Davis County. An SUV veered into the right emergency lane and struck the rear of the IMT truck. The IMT driver was out of his truck at the time and was not injured. The driver of the SUV was arrested for driving on a revoked driver license, and failure to install an ignition interlock device. Troopers are investigating fatigue as the cause of the crash.
