On July 15, 2024, three vehicles were traveling on SR 132 near milepost 61 at approximately 11:52am. A 2004 Dodge Intrepid slowed to turn left into a residential drive. A 2019 Ford F250 was also traveling eastbound behind the Intrepid. As the Intrepid slowed to turn, the F250 failed to slow down and struck the rear of the Intrepid. The Intrepid was pushed into the oncoming lane where it struck a 2017 Toyota Corolla that was traveling westbound. Both occupants of the Intrepid died as a result of the crash. The other three involved subjects, two in the Corolla and one in the F250 were transported to area hospitals with non life threatening injuries. Troopers are looking at possible driver distraction as a contributing factor in the crash.
**The victims in the intrepid have been identified as Braden A Christiansen, 27, and Caitlin M Edmunds, 26, both from Chester, UT.**
